None dare call it conspiracy-Ether 8

The Book of Mormon was given to us in our time to help us sift through the theories of the world and come to the Light and Truth of the Gospel, President Tomas S. Monson said when speaking at the Celebration of the first missionaries to travel Sweden, "I dont believe in coincidence, if I did I would be denying the truth". How many stories in the Book of Mormon are about Secret Combinations? How many of these secret combinations sought to overthrow the freedom of the people?

Is it any wonder Captain Moroni was in tears and heartbroken when he prayed and wrote these words "In memory of our God, our religion, and freedom, and our peace, our wives, and our children" upon his rent coat.(and he called it the title of liberty) and he bowed himself to the earth, and he prayed mightily unto his God for the blessings of liberty to rest upon his brethren, so long as there should a band of Christians remain to possess the land, and the freedom of the land might be favored.
18 And he said: Surely God shall not suffer that we, who are despised because we take upon us the name of Christ, shall be trodden down and destroyed, until we bring it upon us by our own transgressions.

While in on this earth it is so important that we remember the vast difference between God's plan and Satan's. Satan wanted to enslave mankind, to force them to do right then take the Glory for himself. God wanted us to learn for ourselves "virtue from vice, good from evil" So that we with him might enjoy glories, worlds without end. Elder Oaks said when speaking on this same subject at BYUI, "And this is Freedom or liberty"

Freedom has never been given freely to any people. When we wanted a free land here in America, I took many good lives to get it. I cant think of anytime in the history of this world, when freedom has been freely bestowed upon any people. Even Christ suffered for our freedom, in the Garden of Gethsemane, "sweating as it were great drops of blood". Let us not sell our freedom which was bought with blood for temporary comfort or convenience.
